Convisio is a brand about Vision. Created and managed by Ophthalmologist, Dr J S Lamprecht, the social media profile (Twitter and Facebook) is a platform for learning about general issues and advancements in eye health. Other topics will also be mentioned on occasion, such as general science, technology, leadership and philosophy.

The word Convisio means "joint vision" - Your vision (eye sight) is my vision (goal, purpose), and together we can achieve a greater vision (legacy). The logo reflects these multiple layers, It first represents a cornea (the "window" of the eye) viewed from the front, with the viewing instrument's light reflex (the three circles) coming off it. The lines on the side represent the main and secondary surgical entry points into the anterior segment of the eye. The logo can also be seen as a schematic eye viewed from the side, with the cornea on the right and the sclera on the left. The three circles would then represent the three "pockets" in the eye: anterior chamber, lens and vitreous. Finally, the three circles represent the different levels of vision: the patient's, mine, and the bigger picture - legacy.
