Littlehill Montessori

General information

First established in 2005 to provide children with a nourishing environment catering to their needs. Due to the school prospering we moved in 2015 to a larger and better equipped premises in the lush green suburb of Emmarentia.
Our aim is to provide children with a dynamic and authentic Montessori experience where the children are cared for with love and respect. With that in mind the Classroom environments are bright, airy and inviting. Children can move between the indoor and outdoor environments, going from learning to recognise and write numbers to weeding the vegetable patch.
Our school emphasizes independence, creativity, problem-solving, and concentration beginning at an early age. Each child is valued as a unique individual who is a part of our school community. Our goal is to cultivate a lifelong learner through a thoughtfully prepared environment where children are encouraged to select work and assume responsibilities through their natural desire to learn. These children will then hopefully become an asset to the society in which they live
