This involves Electronic communication and electronic submissions between Cross Border Clearing and Forwarding (Pty) Ltd (“CBCF”) the clearing agent and governmental authorities. Calculating usually payment on behalf of the client duties, taxes and excises which will allow for a far better over/border experience.

As we receive all required documents our qualified professional agents will provide the best possible benefit to the clients with reference to the custom notifications and exemptions. This helps in avoiding the delay in clearance and other detention charges such as heavy demurrage etc.

For import and export consignments we require documents such as original invoice, packing list, clearing instructions completed in full and signed by the client, driver passport copy and copies where phyto’s and permits are applicable. A bill of landing/airway for Air & Sea.
Invoices must reflect the following:
Customer VAT number; Exporter’s Code; Importer’s Code P.O. Box address, Physical address; Contact numbers
