About Me:
Cherize Brown qualified as a Podiatrist in December 2014. She qualified at the University of Johannesburg.
Cherize was invited by the University of Johannesburg, as a top student, to visit the Unites States on an exchange student. She grew and developed skill throughout her visit.
She is currently enrolled in the IIWCC (International Interdisciplinary Wound Care Course), which is associated with the University of Toronto and University of Stellenbosch. She is visiting The UAE in March 2014.
Cherize is a passionate and caring person who can relate with her patients and only pursues the best possible treatment for her patients. She is passionate about wound care, hence her participation in obtaining an advanced qualification in wound care.
A bit more personal. Cherize is engaged to be married. The date has been set for October 2015.

What is Podiatry?
Podiatry is a specialist field that focuses on improving the overall health and well-being of patients in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the foot and lower-limb. Podiatrists provide pain relief from foot deformities, injuries and wounds through palliative means, minor surgery or through the prescription of foot orthoses to re-align foot or leg imbalances.
Podiatrists are important team players in the preventative care and management of patients with systemic conditions such as Diabetes and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Podiatrists often recognise systemic medical conditions in patients where manifestation of the condition first occurs in the foot
Podiatrists are often called upon by other physicians and health care professionals for consultation and treatment of foot problems, which can be experienced by everyone from children to seniors.
After all, you only have one pair of feet to last a lifetime.
