African Times is an Afro-centric mirror arising out of the black experience of its country, South Africa, with a view to look at itself, reflect and engage in any advancement options.
Our perspective is steeped in the African continent and enriched by black experience, not only for the transformation but also for the defence and promotion of universal values for human rights.
We recognise that there have been others who came before us. We are joining the media community and other thought leaders that are currently in the field.
We hope to pave the right to know for those who come after us, especially those whose views hardly find expression in the mainstream media (muted and marginalised folks).
