General information

Officially established in 2011, Margot Molyneux is a Cape Town based fashion design studio, focused on producing well made, seasonal collections of women's wear. We design and produce each item with care, dedicating our attention to detail and quality. Our intention is to make garments which are versatile and comfortable, while focusing on design that is classic yet subtly striking, an aesthetic we have become known for.

Based in Cape Town, South Africa, we greatly enjoy the beauty of the city around us, using it, as well as art and traditional methods of print making, as inspiration in our colour choices and in our textiles designs. We love having the opportunity to work with colour technicians at the dye house and print makers at the printers who help us to create our individual collections.

Although a small team, our studio prides itself in making sure each person plays an integral part in the making of each item as well as playing a part in opinion and idea sharing.
