Carpenters Workshop Company Information
General information
The following is a list of current and planned services we provide to the unemployed people:
• Vehicle washing, valeting and polishing skills
• Business and entrepreneurial skills training
• Life skills and job readiness training and the support of the social worker for all trainees.
• We offer ablution facilities to the people living on the streets of Cape Town. This service is available from 8am until 10am on week days. It offers our clients showers, toilets and a place to wash their clothes. The clients are also seen by our social worker for assistance, advice and referrals.
• A 40 bed second phase residence to assist people who have already come through first phase rehabilitation to get back on their feet, and help to reintegrate into their communities.
