20 Management Model Agency was founded in Cape Town in 2005 by international model and entrepreneur Robin Fryer. Robin came onto the business side of the modeling industry in South Africa with unparalleled worldwide experience. He began his extensive modeling career in 1993 in the U.K. After living in Paris, Milan, Hamburg and Barcelona he settled in New York and as a result has travelled extensively for work.

Robin has been featured in the pages of Italian Mens (L'uomo) Vogue, British Esquire, American GQ, Marie Claire, a 27 page editorial shot in Mauritius for Cosmopolitan etc. He received his first major South African exposure on the cover of the lauch edition of Elle Man South Africa. He was also chosen for the Christian Dior Dune Parfum worldwide campaign together with DKNY supermodel Berry Smither. His early successes led to high profile shoots with world renown photographers Bruce Weber, Gary Gross, Bruno Juminer, Peggy Sirota, Friedman Haus etc.

Robin was also a highly sought after runway model – sharing the catwalk with Naomi Campbell (Versace), Markus Shenkenberg and Mark Vanderloo in major shows in Milan and Paris for Versace, Missoni, Fendi, Claude Montana etc.

In his nearly two-decade long career Robin has appeared in over 100 television commercials and been featured in countless local and international advertising campaigns. He has been represented by some of the most prestigious agencies in the world including Ford in New York, Marilyn Gaultier in Paris, and Why Not in Milan.

In 2005 Robin decided to put his extensive experience to good use by starting his own agency in the city in which he was born. 20 Management was inspired by the need to offer a more transparent and “open-door” policy to his contemporaries . In 2007 Robin employed Head Booker Roxy Halls to expand the 20 Management brand and has since grown to what it is today.

The agency now represents more than 150 male and female Models who have appeared in campaigns for GAP-U.S.A, Coca Cola, BMW, Dirk Bikkembergs, Levi's and Nivea to name a few. The agency offers both local and international representation and is dedicated to helping all of the models it represents build viable and sustainable careers.
