Capriccio! Arts Powered Pre-school in Milnerton - boasting easy access from Otto du Plessis drive (the main route linking the Blouberg area to Cape Town City) - offers families an Early Childhood Development facility combining the popular Montessori method with a strong focus on enhancing development via age-appropriate arts-driven learning.

Research has proven that exposing children to the various arts disciplines from an early age benefits their creativity, motor skills development, critical thinking skills and self-confidence. Children naturally respond to music, dance, art and drama. Our curriculum is designed to help them develop a passion for the performing arts early in life, but also helps them to excel in other areas such as mathematics, languages, and science later in life. It takes into account the expressive needs and individual developmental abilities of each child. Our pre-school has been in operation for 5 years, offering a fun-filled, loving, creative environment for children aged 18 months - 6 years (including Grade R), where family values and an affinity for the arts may be established from a young age, allowing each child the freedom to flourish at his/her own pace and develop his/her own unique potential.

The school is registered with the Department of Education and the Department of Social Development, and is owned and managed by Elbe van der Walt-Webber, who holds a B.A. Law & Psychology degree (cum laude) and an Honours Degree in Psychology, with a special interest in Child Psychology.
