Strauss & Co is South Africa's premier fine art auction house specialising in South African art including paintings, watercolours, prints and sculpture.
Four auctions are held a year, two in Johannesburg and two in Cape Town. Cape Town auctions also include furniture, silver, ceramics, glass and jewellery. The Johannesburg auctions are held in The Ballroom at the prestigious Wanderers Country Club Johannesburg in Illovo. In Cape Town, they are held at The Vineyard Hotel in Newlands which is in walking distance from the office at The Oval and from Cavendish.
