The Blench Family immigrated to our South African shores from Geneva – Switzerland with the intention of pioneering Organic Vegetable farming in The Cape thus Vredenhof Organic Estate was founded in 2002.
We aim to bring to light & provide ease of access to the beauty & simplistic elegance of the best pure home grown locally produced organics.
It is through our tireless efforts to restore faith in organic produce that we aim to share the benefits of a firm understanding and appreciation of organics & the myriad of health benefits for the entire family.

Our mission is to produce and supply affordable, fully certified, locally produced Organic goods of the highest quality. We are shedding light on the massive health benefits of pure Organic goodness. While in this fast passed frantic world we occupy, lowering our carbon foot print.
Some of the attractions we have on offer at the Estate are our Organic Farm Store, Coffee Shop & Events Centre all run by highly trained & experienced, hard-working, positive people.
In ‘Isabella’s Secret Garden’ we have loads of beautiful things to see and do such as a full scale monitored children’s play area where your children will have time to forget about the PlayStation & PC while battling pirates on The Green Pearl with Peter Pan or rescuing Snow White with the 7 Dwarfs.

Opposite this is our fully organic nursery run by a highly experienced team. We stock a number of different products to help keep your garden looking beautiful as well as a huge selection of organic vegetables, herbs, plants and flowers.

In our coffee shop we serve a multitude of fresh, ice cold mouth-watering one of a kind, hand crafted smoothies & seasonal fruit juice blends. For the warm pallet we have 5 varieties of imported coffee beans with a wide variety of coffees for sale.

When it comes to the culinary side of Vredenhof our kitchen is headed up by George Blench, who conceptualizes & conjures up a truly astounding breakfast & lunch service complemented by sensational seasonal produce of the highest quality.
Breakfast : 08:00 – 11:30 & Lunch: 12:00 – 15:00 service every day.
Our menu is broad and ever changing as a true reflection of the art of Organics, we embrace the farm produce gifted to us by the sun and season.

With the above being mentioned Vredenhof offers the follow facilities: catering facilities, wedding facilities, rose garden, farm animal petting area, miniature golf, giant chess board & an open air theater.
