Sherwood Children's Centre is a multidisciplinary assessment and therapy centre catering for children from birth to 18 years of age, offering services in 5 languages.
Services offered:
-Cognitive and scholastic skills assessment & school placement and referral
-Psychological (emotional, behavioural and relationship) assessments and Psychotherapy & Play Therapy
-Speech & Language assessment and therapy
-Occupational Therapy assessment and therapy
-Vocational & career guidance
-Parent counselling
The centre also offers a Saturday morning programme where a range of core clinical services are available from 08:00 - 13:00; as well as running a Community Outreach programme to various local schools and children's homes throughout the week.
Birdwood School is linked to Sherwood Children's Centre and is on the same premises. The school caters for children who experience various barriers to learning.
