Interpret Durban is a mixed medium art contest that runs for a month preceding the night of the event.
It all started back in 2010 as a humble T-shirt design contest but over the years has grown into an event which facilitates a competition across 4 categories including Videography, Photography, Illustration and Visual Arts.
The night of the event is built around the exhibition of the work submitted across the categories as well as the much anticipated award ceremony. Following the awards is one heck of a party where the venue bursts with top local bands and DJ’s shaking up the dace-floor and celebrating everyone's … Durbanness.
