General information

Bring hope: Jesus hope seems to be the tangible spiritual fruit of all we do! People are dying with-out hope.

Comprehensive: Our ministry programs go deep into the underlying causes of broken families resulting in HIV,AIDS and TB. We do not focus on quantity of services but on whether our services make a lasting impact on people and families – and we constantly desire to fill the gaps in services that God reveals to us.

Gender-specific: We maximise possible change if we respect Zulu culture in terms of different gender roles and communication methods for males and females. We have 9 male members of staff – Halleluiah! Opportunity abounds for males to lead programs that change males.

Care: Our actions in 3 of our programs have providing care as a key outcome.

Prevention: HIV Counselling and testing program aims to prevent HIV from infecting more. Prevention is better than cure but so tough when it comes to SEX.

Affected:
The MFC children are not all HIV positive – only about 10 out of 70 are – but they are all affected i.e. carry the consequence of the disease.

KwaZulu-Natal Midlands:
Gives us a broad geographical focus area while allowing us to respond to relational ministry opportunities e.g. mobile bake for profit team going to Wartberg and Sweetwaters in 2013.
