Weich & Kriel Inc is situated in Pongola, and serves the entire Maputaland area. This area contains some of the most splendidly diverse and unspoilt wilderness areas in southern Africa, and includes areas such as Kosi Bay and Sodwana Bay. We are one of the largest law firms in the region, and the only Conveyancers and Notaries in the area.

We aim to provide integrity-driven, practical and high quality legal service to our clients, using a personal approach to complete our mandate. It is also tasked to attend on the registration and cancellation of Notarial Deeds of Restraint on behalf of TSB Ltd, as far as it relates to sugarcane farms in the Pongola area.

The firm has been on these panels for a considerable period of time, and has built up a well founded relationship with them.

We have gained spesialised knowledge that is peculiar to the commercial activities in our area, ranging from the needs of our farming community with regards to water rights, land reform, labour issues, the sugar industry, social responsibility with regards to small scale and upcoming farmers, as well as complex commercial transactions and assistance with land rights issues in Mozambique.

Our clients include five star game Reserves, Municipalities, Commercial Farmers, most of the business community in our area, Farmers Associations, Insurance Companies, a substantial correspondent network, Government Departments and various non-profit institutions.
