Plettenberg Bay’s longest-established restaurant has been given a new lease on life with a move to a spectacular new position –– and photographs cannot do justice to the beauty of the wrap-around views from the restaurant & sunny terrace. From sunrise the room is drenched in sunlight, and the large sliding glass doors invite inside-outside living, with an all-round view of blue bay, mountains & verdant green hills. Contemporary, light & fuss-free during day time, the uniquely finished wood panelling softens into warmth & intimacy at night. The Med is still about good food and good times, always with a fond glance over the shoulder to acknowledge the role of past friends in the long-time success of the brand. The Med has become part of the recent history of Plettenberg Bay - with supporters and their children having become part of a large, extended family.
