Profile and History of our Firm:

Roma Badenhorst Attorneys is a family owned law firm and was established on 15 May 1955 by Roma Badenhorst, an admitted Attorney, Notary, Conveyancer and Appraiser, who currently still serves the firm as a consultant. The firm is currently owned in partnership by Nico Badenhorst, son of Roma Badenhorst, an admitted Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer who was admitted as such in 1983 and his son Steyn Badenhorst, also an admitted Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer with the right of appearance in the High Court of South Africa.

Roma Badenhorst Attorneys is closely associated with Roma Badenhorst Estates, whom we assist with the successful conclusion of Deeds of Sale in respect of immoveable property.

Additional to the above, our firm currently employs six secretaries, three estate agents, one translator/messenger and one cleaning lady and one tracing agent, insuring friendly and expedient service delivery.

Profile and Background of Nico Badenhorst:

Nico Badenhorst matriculated from Hentie Cilliërs High School in Virginia in 1976. After rendering compulsory military service to the SANDF in 1977, he initiated his legal studies at the University of the Free State in 1978 and received the qualification of Baccalaureus Procurationis in 1982. He commenced his articles at Coopers & Sons in Bloemfontein in 1981, was admitted as an attorney in 1983 and Conveyancer & Notary in 1984. He joined his father, Roma Badenhorst, in Virginia on 1 November 1983 and has been acquiring extensive knowledge and experience whilst practicing law at the firm to date.

Profile and Background of Steyn Badenhorst:

Steyn Badenhorst matriculated from Hentie Cilliërs High School in 2006 and commenced his legal studies in 2007 at the University of the Free Sate. He obtained the qualification of Baccalaureus Legum and commenced his articles in 2011 at Webbers Attorneys in Bloemfontein, was admitted as Attorney, Notary and Conveyancer and joined Roma Badenhorst Attorneys in 2013 to continue the proud family legacy. He is currently an equal partner in the firm. Additional to the aforementioned, Steyn is the ward councillor for Virginia ward 9 in the Matjhabeng Local Municipality.
