General information

We believe in a integrated approach to counselling and mediation, this is based on our belief that each individual is unique and deserve to be treated as such. We believe in open communication and open mindedness; this allows us to continue learning in our field and broadening our ability to serve the community.

In 2004 Ilana (founder) graduated with a diploma in visual communication from The Open Window Institute for Arts and Digital Sciences; She obtained a BA degree in Psychology, Criminology and Research Methodology at the University of Pretoria in 2014. She had the privilege to work with children on the Autism Spectrum during my undergraduate years.

In 2015 Ilana obtained her BA honours degree in Applied Psychology from the South African College of Applied Psychology.

Ilana is busy with an Art Therapy certification through the Art Therapy Academy. She is a proud member of the ASCHP, CCSA and PsySSA as a Psychotherapist. As a mediator Ilana is accredited through SAAM and a member of Social Justice and Family Justice. Ilana is an accredited Brain Profiler with SolutionsFinding.

In 2016 Ilana volunteered with Hospivision at Steve Biko hospital as well as doing Pro Bono Mediation work at NGO’s.

This year Ilana is volunteering her time at a home for survivors of human trafficking through group therapy using art as a medium.
