The Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement church has been in existence for over 80 years. It was organised as a Church in July 1925 in Gotha, Germany. The main objective of this church was and is still to continue with the original teachings of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. After the second world war (1949), the headquarters was moved to the United States of America, Sacramento, California, later relocated to Blackwood, New Jersey before being permanently located in ROANOKE, VIRGINIA, USA. The Reform Movement work started in South Africa in October 1944.
