Owners Oleg and Julia moved to Cape Town several years ago from Russia and since have been enthralled by the natural splendor and bounty that South Africa has to offer; From thickets of lush woodland to enchanting finebos landscapes teeing with mystery and life. Amongst all the gifts that the kingdom of South African flora can bestow the Rooibos plant stands heads above all others.
Found only in the Cederberg mountain range, where for generations it has been grown and harvested using time honored methods and processed into a most wonderful aromatic, naturally semi sweet tea.
The health benefits of Rooibos are well documented and backed by scientific evidence and since learning all of these amazing facts, No day was complete before a cup or two of this magnificent brew.
After much consideration they decided to share their love of Rooibos by open up a cozy little tea shop in the picturesque town of Simonstown, which rich in naval history and situated at the foot of the Southern peninsula.
The shop which could only be called "The Best of South Africa" is located on the main road of Simonstown next to the historic "Lord Nelson" hotel.
Apart for our wide variety of Rooibos teas, we also stock other Rooibos based products, a diverse selection of dried fruit and nuts and Biltong a traditional South African dried meat snack in beef, ostrich and antelope.
All of our meat products have been certified Halal by the Islamic council of South Africa.

The Best of South Africa offers:

4. we are open seven days a week, Mon-Sun from 9 am - 6 pm including public holidays.

5.The shop is easily accessible, close to free parking which includes spaces for large tourist buses.
