New owners, new energy and a fresh new look puts The River Club in Observatory back on the map for family fun, golf and entertainment.

Membership to the driving range and mashie golf course is now contract-free and less than R300 per month.

Line up for the current hole-in-one competition and you could be winning a brand new Audi A1 too.

Whilst Mom’s and Dad’s hone their putting skills, kids can work off some energy at the River Rascals Kids Club. Golf club members and Slug & Lettuce patrons can – at no additional charge- leave their kids (over 3) under close supervision at the River Rascals club, with activities and an organically inspired, toxin -free playground. Non-members pay just R50 per child for three hours. Look out for news on fun River Rascals kids parties – launching soon.

Why not enrol your kids for the SNAG (Starting New at Golf) group that teaches beginners to play golf.

The new Slug & Lettuce Restaurant offers generous portions of home style favourites at breakfast, lunch and dinner - along with snacks, cakes and drinks for every occasion in between. Outdoor seating makes this restaurant a summer favourite, whilst the pub is a cheerful space to gather for a big screen game. Centrally located between Cape Town city and the suburbs, the River Club ticks all the boxes for hours of fun.

The River Club has also recently renovated their conferencing to offer stylish new conference and event spaces, featuring state-of-the-art technology and an excellent selection of catering for every occasion.
