Year 7 – 8 Cambridge International Checkpoint – Statement of Achievement

This course completed over Year 7 – 8 provides parents and schools with an external international benchmark of student performance in Mathematics, Science, and English.

Furthermore, a sound foundation for further study in the areas of Additional Languages, as well as subjects from the Arts and Humanities completes the course offered

A Cambridge International Statement of Achievement is awarded, which indicates the student’s academic progress during this education stage.

Cambridge International Certificate of Education

Cambridge International Certificate of Education (ICE)
Cambridge ICE requires the study of subjects drawn from the five different IGCSE subject groups. The student is thus given the opportunity to benefit from offering a broad and balanced curriculum by recognising the achievements of students who pass examinations in at least seven subjects, including two languages, and one subject from each of the other subject groups.

Cambridge Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE)

Cambridge AICE Diploma offers students the opportunity to tailor their studies to their individual interests, abilities and future plans within an international curriculum framework.

This qualification provides a high-quality English-medium qualification which prepares young people for honours degree programmes. It is a ‘group’ certificate which requires the study of subjects drawn from three curriculum areas.

The Cambridge AICE Diploma programme is used by schools around the globe with the added benefit that many colleges and universities are awarding students advanced standing and academic credit for Cambridge AICE Diploma examinations passed.

Cambridge Advanced Subsidiary and Cambridge Advanced Level subjects may also be chosen to comply with specific university requirements
