DENTEC Industries (PTY) Ltd was established in Cape Town in 2016, with a vision of bringing the latest in construction technology to Africa. As the sole distributor in Southern Africa for the SmartRock2™ Concrete Sensor, DENTEC is well on its way to showing Africa the future of construction technology. The SmartRock2™ is a rugged waterproof wireless sensor that allows real-time temperature and maturity monitoring of concrete. The sensor is placed in the concrete formwork (installed on the rebar) before pouring, and the temperature and resulting concrete strength can be viewed in real-time on the SmartRock2™ App.
